This work presents an allegory of justice in the context of the genocide in Palestine.
The central figure reinterprets Lady Justice. She is not blind, nor impartial. She is armoured, upright, and aligned with power.
In her right hand, the scale is filled with gold. It represents economic interests, political alliances, and the material benefits that shape international positions. Justice here is not weighed by ethics, but by profit.
In her left hand, she holds a missile. This points to the military industry and the strategic value of violence. War is not a failure of order — it is part of it.
The silhouette follows the outline of Palestine. This work speaks of complicity.
There is no neutral position in the face of genocide. There is only participation — active or tolerated.
The title Never Again And Again exposes the erosion of meaning through repetition. A phrase once meant to draw an absolute moral line now functions as a ritual of reassurance, repeated while violence continues uninterrupted.
Material and FormThe surface uses a restrained palette of warm sand, beige, muted browns and soft greys. Matte, layered textures create a dry, mineral appearance with subtle relief. Muted gold is embedded into the surface rather than applied on top. Forms emerge through tonal variation rather than sharp outlines. The overall finish is matte, textured, and deliberately subdued.
Thank you for supporting slow, intentional art.
Each work carries time, memory, and meaning.
